Living in Fort Lauderdale, I knew Jimmy through his best friend and mine, Robert Neilson, who was there for him  through the good and bad times. Though my association with him was short and limited, I found Jimmy to be nothing less than warm, engaging, interested in others and a lover of life and people. His giving, outgoing spirit and infectious smile will be missed and the positive impact he had on those he touched will endure.

My dear brother , I love you and miss you so much and so does everyone else but our lives will not be the same without you. You were not ready to go yet but god needed you for something else . you earned your wings before you left us please give my babies a hug. thanks for the snow we know you were swearing at it but i enjoyed it not driving in it. we know your in mom"s arms and everyone else that have left us. and your all parting up there. you have touched so many lives and did so much for everyone. My dear baby brother, I love and miss you so much. everyday I want to pick up the phone and call you and have to catch my self. and then sit and cry that I can not talk to you. the hurt is there constinualy. I know you sent the snow for me and you were up there swearing about it. but we know you are staying warm in mom's arms and everyone else that we have lost. give all my grandbabies a hug for me. I'm going to miss all our special moments with you. we know you already had your angel wings on earth because you did so much for everyone you touched. so when you went home God must of put you up at the head of the line. So sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing.  I have so many childhood memories of growing up together on Bidwell Terrace.  I only wish we could have met up again after all these years.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.  I pray that Jimmy has now found peace.

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy.  Still the 'Bad Boy' - you left us way too soon. My heart skipped a beat when I saw your name listed and I still can not believe it. Am thankful for having you as a friend all of these years.  We went all over:Europe, Mardi Gras,the Keys, Toronto looking for a good meal, a cheap Happy Hour and fun people.  Remember Orlando ??!! I remember when we were kids how our family went over to visit Jimmy and his family at Christmas time and how they were always great memories. Father time is taking us one by one home again.  Jim fought the good fight and I am so blessed to call him cousin, housemate for a time and my little brother.
