Jean Tanise was born September 1957 in Saint Louis Du Nord, Haiti. Son of Estil Homme Tanis and Philozia Phlogene Tanis. He was the Loving Husband of Acceline Louis Tanise and the faithful Father of Johnny, Jean-Rony, and Merline Tanise.

He moved from Haiti to the Bahamas, then to the United States in 1987, where he laid his roots in Miami Shores, FL. He was a hardworking sensational cook and Landlord. He was also a handyman, a mechanic, a mentor, and an advisor. He was old fashioned but up to date with life. In the modern-day, we would call him a renaissance man. Jean was an Entrepreneur who made sure that he provided for his family no matter the cost.

Jean was the devoted Brother of Osiane Joseph, Jeanette Telusnord, Eliane Flereus, Stephen Tanis, Leonvill Tanis, Ylassie Tanis, Cedieu Tanis, Dieujuste Tanis, Exilhome Tanis, and L’avis Tanis. He had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he loved and who loved him dearly.

He was a loving father, husband, loyal friend, dear brother, impactful coworker, and a good neighbor. His memory will live forever through all who came to know him to trust in hard work and provide love and stability.

We will forever carry his smile in our hearts and his funny sense of humor in our souls. Jean’s unconditional love is in our presence until we meet again.
