My prayers and thoughts are with your family.

To John's Family,
I am still shocked at his sudden passing, and wanted to extend my condolences. He was great to have as a Manger, he was always kind and understanding, and treated me with much respect. He will truly be missed, my prayers and thoughts are with you.

I want to extend my condolences to John's family. I thought very highly of him, as somebody who worked for him. He could be gruff and tough, but once you got past that he was a good guy who was fair and had a sense of humor. I am glad to have known him. R.I.P.

To the Daly Family,

John will be missed and remembered by so many! John was John...everyday of the week! :-)) He took pride in his staff and believed in treating everyone fairly. John also had a BIG sense humor! I'm still in shock at is passing, but the good Lord is life's master architect and He makes no mistakes. Life is such an incredible privilege, yet such a limited allotment and there are few people in our lives that will leave a lasting impression. John Daly left an impression. May God give you all strength!

To John's family,
 I was quite stunned to hear of his passing and can imagine how difficult it is for you all. He was so well liked by all of us who worked with him. John was one of kind.

John, I have so many memories in my heart and for those of us who were fortunate enough to have you not only as our Center Manager but our Supervisor we will always remember the nicknames you had for each one of us ie….  Ms. Butterfly, Tootsie, Little General, and Bubba. You were like EF Hutton, when you spoke everyone listened.  You set high standards and gave us no less. Words are only a small gesture of support at this time but know that his spirit has touched many people’s lives as it has mine.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of John’s sudden death. It was unexpected. John came across as a rough and no-nonsense individual, but under that rough exterior he was in essence a caring and gentle giant. I wish there was a way to lessen the grief we all feel with John’s passing but I know that is impossible. He was a wonderful human being and we will all miss him. May God bless his family and may John’s soul rest in peace.

People describe John as some type of bear with a toothache which was the way he liked to be perceived. He liked to keep people off balance it was just his way, he rarely let people get past that gruff exterior. If you were fortunate you found the “Teddy Bear”. I was one of the few lucky ones to have the privilege to know him this way. He was a mentor, friend, and leader you will be missed Polar Bear.

He was one of the finest persons to grace this earth. John mentored me, always took time to answer any of my questions in depth and guided me through my work. Quite simply, John was an extraordinary gentleman. His brilliant spirit will continue to light our lives with the loyalty and commitment to humanity which he exemplified.
John you are now safe with our Lord but you always be missed.

"John, Thank You" for being YOU. You always had something funny to say. During our conversation - few weeks ago, you made a joke but told me something very profound. I will always keep it with me and it has changed my life. Thanks John because you planted a seed in my heart. It was an honor knowing you.

To the family of John, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I believe I echo the sentiments of everyone when I say he definitely was our big teddy bear who had a heart of honey. He will be missed dearly.

John you were exactly like a big grizzly teddy bear that had a sore foot but we all knew down deep how you really took care of us on a daily basis and we truly appreciated it. I will always hear you yelling down the hall Bev you have a minute. To the family you have lost a man with a great heart and may time help you heal as you remember the good times with John. May he now rest in peace.

What I remember most about John was his sense of humor. It's a characteristic I value in people and John had loads of it. He will be missed.

Jersey Dude! What a wonderful man you were to me- despite the smoke-screen.  To have known John was to have loved John.  Peace to all grieving- John is now wrapped in joy, peace and LOVE.

I met Mr. Daly when I came to work in the North office in 2006. I found him to be a kind and gentle man who presented himself as the big bad wolf but in truth was just a cuddley bear. To his family, may God grant you the strength and courage to hold fast and be strong, because one day we all will have to make that journey. I pray God's blessing on all of  the family and know that one day you shall meet again.

John, you will be missed by so many. It was always a pleasure visiting with you. The stories you had about your life experiences are ones that books are written about. John, your passing has truly opened my eyes of how fragile life really is. It has taught me to take time out to speak to those around me because that opportunity may not be there the next day. May God comfort those grieving your passing. May God also comfort you now that you are in His kingdom.
