BARRETT, JULIE ANN of North Lauderdale, Fl. died Monday, August 29, 2011 at N. Broward Medical Center, Deerfield Beach, Fl. Beloved daughter of Betty and the late William Kennedy Jr. and her late biological father James Henry Grover. Loving mother of Jennifer Barrett and her husband Tom. Cherished grandmother of Sarah Jean, Jessie and Alexys. Devoted sister of Joyce DiStefano and her husband Robert, Elizabeth Kennedy and William Kennedy III and his wife Maria. Caring aunt of Lisa Marie DiStefano-Santamarta and her husband Reinaldo, Robert, Briana, Angelina Sophia and Anthony Joseph. Also survived by her companion Stan Kinsley. Julie is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts. Julie possessed the ability to touch so many people in such different ways, and was known for her caring heart. Julie will be greatly missed, but she will continue to watch over us from Heaven, now and forever. Viewing will be held Friday, September 2, 2011 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Kraeer Mason Funeral Home 6701 West Commercial Blvd. Tamarac, Fl. 33319, 954-721-3300. Mass will be held at the New Chapel inside the Mausoleum at Our Lady Queen of Heaven, followed by the entombment, Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 12:00 noon, 1400 North State Rd. 7 N. Lauderdale, FL 3068. 954-972-1234.

Though I didn't know Julie Ann, it is clear that she was very much loved. Losing someone so special is difficult. May memories of her always be with you and may the peace that excels all thought be with you as well.
