Southwest Ranches, Florida – Leopold Tienes, 88, passed away December 3, 2018. Born April 29th, 1930 in Glaserhau, Czechoslovakia to August Tienes and Julia Antoni Tienes. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Tienes and daughter, Helga Tienes Andrews.
He is survived by his daughters, Gabi DeLotta (Jonathan) of Davie FL and Maria Vidaurre (Hector) of Weston FL, his sister; Magdalena Schmid (Wolfgang) of Hollywood, FL; his seven grandchildren (Erica Schaefer, Jessica Schaefer, Christian Vidaurre, Lillian Vidaurre, Jason Andrews, Derak Andrews and Travis Andrews) and two great-grandchildren (Emma Finlan and Lyla Finlan).
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday December 7, 2018 at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 6200 N University Drive, Tamarac, FL. Interment to follow in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 S. State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL.
