To the family my condolences, God will see you through.  He will keep, comfort, and stand my your side.

I first met Miss Lynette at sometime after the start of school year in September 1988, when her beautiful daughter, Sonya came to join my 3rd Form class at Camperdown High. On that basis, fate had brought us into a parent-teacher relationship that would eventually resulted in a lifetime connection to her and her two children, particularly Sonya.  In short, about a year later when it had become necessary for her to migrate, she entrusted Sonya’s care to me while she continued her education at Camperdown. RIP Ms Lynette!

My deepest condolences to the family.  May her soul rest in peace.  She was a beautiful soul.

Sonya, Carl, Jamilah, Joel,  siblings and  other relatives of  Linette Sookie, our depeest sympathy to you all.

Please accept my deepest condolences. Miss Linette was a valued and loved family friend for many years while living in Philadelphia and even after moving to Florida. She attended my wedding, watched me have babies, became grandma to mine and my sisters children and made lots of roti and curry chicken for us. The many road trips with her, me caring for her wound after her surgery and just her smile and loving kindness towards everyone she met.
Miss Linette and my mom who’s also named Lynette were like sisters, they worked together, looked out for each other and even when she  moved to Florida  still stayed in contact.  R.I.P aunty  the Dixon family and the Amore family will miss you dearly.

I was saddened when I heard about her passing. I was her hairdresser for many years in Philadelphia, we shared many laughs and great times together. Sleep on beloved, you’ll never be forgotten. To the family…. My deepest heartfelt condolences 💔

Miss Linette was such a great storyteller and her warm spirit will be missed yet we will hold on to the laughter, the love, the care, and the kindness that she was not afraid to display.

Linette was beautiful and from my little interaction with her, it was evident that she loved her family very much to the extent of putting her own health on the line to be with her daughter Sonya when she was hospitalized.  The missing link in the family certainly leaves a void no one can fill.  

May the precious memories created and shared with mommy, grandma, sister, auntie, cousin and friend, Linette warm your hearts in the days ahead.
