

Loretta was born on November 30th, 1945 in St. Ann, Jamaica to the late Lawrence and Gladys Fletcher, she was the fifth of seven children. She lived most of her adult life in Kingston where she worked at the Hunts Bay Police Station as a Chef before she migrated to the United States (New York) in 1980.
Loretta retired from Booth Memorial after more than two decades of hard work and dedication. In 2009, Loretta moved to South Florida to reside with four of her six children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Loretta was a devoted Christian and member of the First Born Church of Queens NY. She was a dedicated, kindhearted, and affectionate mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Loretta was a loving and passionate woman who would give her last, she never turned her back on those in need. She loved the Lord and her family above all else. Loretta will be missed wholeheartedly by those she left behind.
Loretta is reunited with her siblings Monica, Raphael, Larkland, and Roman Fletcher of blessed memory. She leaves six children behind to celebrate her life and her loving memories: Monica Donaldson and partner Lloyd Goslin (2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren); Natalie Donaldson-Sherwood and husband Vincent Sherwood (3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren); Donna Donaldson (2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild); Maxwell Donaldson and wife Sonia Donaldson (6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren); Angella Donaldson (1 grandchild); Michelle Martin and spouse James Martin (3 grandchildren). Six children, two sisters, Joyce and Cynthia, seventeen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives who will cherish her for the rest of their days.
