My condolences to the family. Aunty Lucil was a loving beautiful  queen . She gone but will never be forgotten.  Her beautiful memories will live on in her wonderful children and grandchildren. Rest in perfect  peace Aunty.

The Smikle family was truly blessed to have known Sis. Melephant. As we reflect on this beautiful soul, remembering her positive influence, ready smile and welcoming charm, we grieve with you and thank God for allowing her to walk among us. We're acquainted with the indescribable pain of loss, as we're still treading this difficult path. Sis Melephant was my beacon of light. Whenever I attended church at Lauderhill SDA, she would always wave at me and give me her very lovely smile. I would be sure to give her a real good hug and ask the Lord to bless her. Sleep well, my friend. We will certainly meet in that great getting up morning!

Melephant was the mother-in-law of our brother Cecil Hinds , he loved his mother-in- law  dearly and spoke highly of her at all times. We knew her as Sister Milliphant while growing up in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Crescent. But she was more than just a sister; she was a true mother at heart, always showing care and genuine concern for others. Her quiet demeanor, deep reverence, and unwavering love for God were truly admirable. Indeed.  Every personal encounter with the Milliphants brought joy and warmth. 

May her beautiful memories live on, and may her soul find rest in the arms of the savior 🙏

My condolences to the family. Our cousin Lucille was an absolutely fantastic lady. Indeed an angel that lived here on earth with us. 
Family was the heart of her existence and she always showed me love. 
She and my Mum, cousin Enid had a very special bond from their earlier days in Jamaica and this bond stayed , grew and extended when they both lived abroad. 
Mummy was never happier than when she was talking with or visiting with Cousin Lucille. 

She will be greatly missed by all our family. I have no doubt that her soul is resting in place with her Heavenly Father.

Memory of cousin Lucille there is so many, just the way she would talk about my my mum cousin Enid, cousin Lucille was like a big sister to my mum and the love they had for each other, it was because of cousin Lucille that my mum married Pappa Williams and that marriage was greatest thing to our family right up the time he died and will still miss him today, your mum was the best person ever.

Good morning my friend. This piece is very moving. Whilst I never got to meet the lady, it is clear she have always been a tower of strength to you and other members of your family. All condolences to you and all the others connected to her like family. From what you told me about your association with her; I know even with the festive on the horizon, these days might not be happiest for you. Both your mom and your dad were two solid pillars in your life. With both now gone, I know a man like you will find ways to share some of those strengths you gain; both with your children, other family members and friends.

Our dear mother Sister Melliphant- Aunt Lucille was such person . A woman of strength and integrity whose life was a great blessing to all. Her beautiful smile and kind words can never be forgotten, her warmth and love will always be remembered, a friend of our family for years. On behalf of  the Crawford’s family I offer our profound condolences to the Melliphant’s family as you travel this painful road of grief.  May you be comforted by her well lived life and the lasting and fond memories of a wonderful mother and grandmother who lived in the hope of a glorious resurrection in  Jesus her Saviour. Sleep well our dear Aunty, we will see you in the morning where joys shall never end.

She was one of our beautiful Nans, who showed sincere care for all of us over the years.  We’ll cherish our fond memories of her always.  She cared for us all as though we were her biological children.  She touched our lives with her kindness, her infectious smile and her example of how to love, care for others and live our faith.  We smile knowing she’s been blessed with 98 years and wish we’ll be as blessed as she’s been.  We thank our father for the legacy she’s left us; we thank our father for the beautiful person she was.  We thank our father for her life.  
She’ll always be that matriarch whom we respect, love and honour.  Rest well nanna!

Sister Lucilda was an asset to the Melephant family.  A devoted mother to her family and steadfast as a caring human being.  She had an amazing memory and knew more about people than people remembered about themselves.

I fully understand the feelings of her children right now.  She will be etched in our hearts forever.

She was a godly woman who loved her God and family. Sis. Lucille as we affectionately called her lived a beautiful long life. She was loved by all.  I smile as I remember all the stories she told us about her childhood , stories about my dad who preceded her in death. 
Rest well Sis. Lucille, we will meet on that beautiful shore in the sweet by and by.❤️
