But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Matthew 7:14
A Selibon Serné
October 10,1961 – September 6, 2021
Selibon Serné was born in La Tortue, Haiti, on October 10th, 1961. He was the son of Mr. Moise Cerné and Mrs. Luccilia Cerné. He grew up there, in Montry, La Tortue, and he served the community as a teacher in the Montry Baptist Elementry School. He had been very active in the community at the time he lived there like many others of his generation. Also, at a certain moment of his life, he had to leave his home town and his country in search of a better life.
He entered the United States of America on August 1st, 1986. After some years, he met the love of his life, Mrs. Marie Titi Serné whom he married for 31 years and loved dearly. He was a quiet man, a hardworking man, a provider, a family man. He is going to be remembered by many.
Many are affected by his death, especially those that were closer to him: his wife, Mrs. Marie Titi Serné, his mon and dad Mrs. Luccilia Cerné and Mr. Moise Cerné, his daughter Kendra Serné, his grand daugther Keymorah Alani Serné Serné, and his grand son Sebastian Montesuma; also his death affects his brothers and sisters, Monel Cerné and family, Esdras Cerné and family, Ocson Dortin and family, Marie M Cerné and family, Nicla Cerné and family, Bertha Dortin and family, his brother-in-laws
Charité Jean Simon, and Claudner Claude. His death also affects his step daughters: Sherline Montesuma, Martine Montesuma, and Darlene Montesuma, his cousins, uncles and aunts, his close friends Dr Alen Black and Mrs Elizabeth Black and Courteney Farquharson.
May His Soul Rest In Peace.
