OBITUARY

Adam Hasebroock

November 16, 1977 – November 4, 2021
Obituary of Adam Hasebroock
IN THE CARE OF

Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood

Adam Hasebroock, age 43, of Tampa, Florida, was killed by a reckless driver on Thursday, November 4, 2021, while doing one of the things he enjoyed most - training for an upcoming triathlon.

Outside of his family, some of the things Adam loved most were triathlons, his Nebraska football team (go Huskers!), and the Foo Fighters. He is really hoping to see Dave Grohl, the lead singer, in heaven.

Serving the Samaritan's Purse project, Operation Christmas Child, was his passion. Thousands of boxes were shipped overseas and into the arms of children every year because of the collaborative efforts among him, his wife, Yvette, twin brother Andrew, his wife Megan and their five children.

His unquenchable thirst for theological education and knowledge, especially the minutiae of the Bible, was well known among his family, friends and peers and even evident to those who didn’t know him. Adam’s constant searching deepened his understanding and love for the Lord.

He showed genuine kindness and great interest in investing in people's lives and followed that up by nurturing relationships that lasted for years. Whether it was a customer at work or a friend at the gym, Adam expressed an authentic love for them; a kind love that can only be seen elsewhere exhibited by Christ.

He will forever be remembered for his sincere heart, hilarious jokes and undeniable love for Jesus.

Please, in lieu of flowers please use this link to send a donation to Samaritain’s Purse - Operation Christmas Child, in his honor — https://sampur.se/3cWqlep

Flowers die, but OCC could be an eternal change for a young child.

Psalms 73:26

My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak,

but God remains the strength of my heart;

he is mine forever.
