Alfredo was born in Caracas Venezuela to Luis Silverio Lugo and Elena Liendo de Lugo on July 16, 1933.

His completed his Highschool in the San Jose Parrish in Caracas, Venezuela. Later he attended College at Indiana Technical Institute in Fort Wayne Indiana in 1959 where he studied Chemical Engineering and completed his studies in Business Management. Upon his return to Venezuela he served as a manager for several U.S. companies with branches in South America.

In 1979 Alfredo decided to leave his native country of Venezuela to pursuit the American Dream and relocated to Tampa where he worked as manager and sales for a several packing companies.

In 1993 he formed BayVen International Co a small Import/Export packaging company where he continued operating and managing until his full-time retirement in 2014.

Alfredo is preceded by his wife of 56 years Lida Useche de Lugo which he shared most of his life until her death on 2012.

His children Luis Lugo, Ricardo Lugo and Gustavo Lugo and wife Jeanette Lugo. His grandchildren, Francis Lugo Louis and husband Sal Louis, Gustavo Alexander Lugo and wife Katri Lugo, Addison Elena Lugo, Jocelyn Ianna Lugo, Jaqueline Aldazabal and Joseph Aldazabal. His great grandchildren Celine Marie Louis, Layla Chloe Louis and Frans Alexander Lugo. Other family members Mary Cuervo, Jose Cuervo and Laura Ricchino.
