

She was born in Tampa on June 27, 1928 to Ignacio and Rosalia Fonte. She was preceded by the passing of her infant daughter, Rose Anne, twenty one months old, in 1960, and her son Joseph, age 8, in 1969, and in 2012 by the death by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Clemente III. Angie was an amazing wife, mother and nana who deeply loved her family and many friends. She is survived by her son, Gerald Clemente, Sr., and his wife Sheryl; daughter, Shari and son Gerald, Jr; and brother, Angelo Fonte Sr., and many nieces and nephews who affectionately called her, “Aunt Red”.
She was a graduate of Plant High School, a member of the Tampa Symphony playing first chair violin, an avid and skilled dress designer, and an accomplished Commercial Realtor. Angie was a devout Catholic and a long-standing member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
A Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 27th at Blount and Curry – Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 East Lake Avenue. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 28th at Blount and Curry – Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 East Lake Avenue. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 5100 W. Kennedy Blvd., Suite 195, Tampa, FL 33609.
