Anna Linton Kunkel

Former Tampa native, Anna Linton Neel Kunkel passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, only seven days before her 96th birthday. Her last several years were spent in Georgia. Born in Tampa in 1919, Anna was the youngest daughter of Giles Edgar Neel and Mary Pearl Willis Neel. She was preceded in death by siblings; Laurie Inez Neel Robinson, Mary Elizabeth Neel Hoskin, John Edgar Neel, Emma Louise Neel Linton, Giles Henderson Neel, Pearl Lucille Neel McKay and Billy Bartow Neel.

She is survived by two sons and their wives: John H. Kunkel, III, wife Angela Williamson Kunkel; Stephen G. Kunkel, wife Kathy Chappell Kunkel; Five Grandchildren, Elizabeth Kunkel, John Kunkel, IV, Jeff Kunkel, Joseph Kunkel and Christina Kunkel; Ten nieces and nephews Debbie Shook, Timothy Neel, Marshall (Buddy) Neel, Mary Ann Downey, Nancy Zavosky, Jean Harrell, Fred Hillis, Paul David Hillis, Kathy Hillis Smith, and Carolyn Hillis Lopicola and their children. Anna worked many years as a Patient Relations representative at Memorial Hospital, Tampa retiring at 80 years old.
