Anna Elisabeth Nunn, 87, of Lutz, Florida, passed away on August 11, 2026. She was born January 27, 1939, in Germany, and was schooled by the Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing in Bavaria. In 1964, she immigrated to Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a newlywed with her husband, Helmut Nunn, who had come to the United States in 1953.
Anna treasured time with her family, including her four grandchildren, and returned often to Germany to visit her many nieces and nephews. A consummate hostess, she and Helmut welcomed a wide circle of friends into their home in Maryland. A devoted Catholic, Anna attended Mass daily.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Helmut, who died in 2015. She is survived by her son, Willy, and his wife, Virginia, and her grandchildren, Sarah, Max, Michael, and Grace.
A funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 17512 Lakeshore Road, Lutz, FL 33558, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A light reception will follow at Angel's Senior Living, 18440 Exciting Idlewild Boulevard, Lutz, FL 33548.
