Anthony Branton, 62, born June 27, 1964, passed away October 28, 2026. A resident of New Port Richey, Florida, Anthony will be remembered with deep respect for a life marked by steady courage, tireless work, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
After serving more than 15 years in the Army, Anthony continued to live out the same sense of duty and perseverance in his civilian career, spending several years in telecommunications as a cable technician. In every season of life, he carried himself with quiet resolve and a commitment to doing what needed to be done—reliably, thoroughly, and with pride in honest work.
Anthony shared 43 years of marriage with his wife, Myong “Sunny” Branton, a bond that stood as a testament to enduring love and steadfast partnership. He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy Sandstrom; his siblings, Joseph, Stephen, and Diane; many nieces and nephews; and extended family in South Korea. He is also survived by his beloved best bud, Buddy.
Anthony’s legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the years of service he gave, and the examples he set through a devoted life—one defined not by grand display, but by constancy, strength, and care for others.
Services for Tony will be scheduled at a later date.
