

Ortiz, Antonio “Tony”, 69, of Tampa, Florida died on January 31st, 2026 in Tampa, Fl. He was born on December 5th, 1956 in Santurce, PR, USA. He attended Sacred Heart College of Natural Science, in Puerto Rico, and then attended Polk VO-Tech Center, now Traviss Technical College, in Lakeland, Fl for Drafting studies. He studied Drafting and Architecture while in the US Army, and retired from the service March 19, 1979. He worked for the US Postal Service since 1980, and retired from it in 2017 after 37 years of service. He was an avid baseball, softball, and basketball player through his youth, and played on several church teams. He’s preceded in death by his father Antonio Ortiz of Salinas, PR, USA. He’s survived by his daughters Camille Calascibetta (Joseph) of Wesley Chapel, Fl, Jaclyn Ortiz of Tampa, Fl, his mother Gertrudes Cortes of Tampa, Fl, sister Liz Snyder-Walters of Tampa, grandson Ethan Calascibetta of Wesley Chapel, nephews Wil Anthony Incle of Lutz, Sean-Alan Snyder of Tampa, aunt Maria Ortiz-Vegoda of Miami, Fl, uncle Luis Cortes of Lakeland, Fl and numerous cousins. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home at 1:00-2:00PM, funeral service 2:00-3:00PM, graveside services will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery at 3:00-3:30PM,
