Antonio V. Zummo

ZUMMO, Anthony V., 62, of Tampa, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was a lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. Anthony graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1970 and started a career in the aftermarket parts industry. His dedication and strong work ethic led to the building of Fleet Products. Since opening in 1985, Fleet Products has grown to become one of the largest independent automotive and heavy duty truck parts distributors on the West Coast of Florida. Anthony was a member of the Italian Club of Tampa and a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church for 44 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Angela L. Zummo. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Juliana; their three daughters, Catrece and Bob Palm, Jenalisa and Jesus Da Silva who are expecting a daughter in January, Angela and Robert Langley; son, Dustin Hardman; grandchildren, Harrison Anthony Langley, Richard Hardman; siblings, Jimmie Zummo Jr. and Rosie, Angela R. Zummo and Paul Cheatham, Michael Glorioso; two nephews, Dominic Zummo and Stefanie, Nicholas Glorioso and niece, Gabrielle Glorioso. Anthony will be deeply missed by his family and many lifelong loyal friends. The family will receive friends Monday 11/10 from 3:00pm-8:00pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home- Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Avenue, Tampa. Funeral Mass will be held 2:00pm on Tuesday 11/11 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1552 North Boulevard, Tampa with entombment to follow at L’Unione Italiana Cemetery Mausoleum. Pallbearers include, Dustin Hardman, Michael Glorioso, Dominic Zummo, Anthony Vento Jr., Tony Lazzara, Stace Williams, John Darrow, Mario Perez, Perry Conzen. Honorary Pallbearers include, Joseph Parrino, Joseph Provenzano, Angelo Lazzara, Jimmy Dickerson, Eugene Rodriguez, Wayne Highsmith, Jerry Parker, Bret Phares, Sam Massaro, Peter Marcello. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Associate, the Shriners Hospitals for Children, and the National Kidney Foundation.
