PIERCEY, Arthur, 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 5, 2014. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Katherine Piercey. He is survived by his second wife, Florence Conte Piercey; children, Jim Piercey, Linda Miller Piercey, David Piercey and his wife Janice, Duane Piercey and his wife Lisa; step-children, Josie, Anita, David and their families; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson and two sisters, Hattie Piercey and Bessie Newhook. Arthur was a faithful and devoted member of Gateway Christian Church for over 50 years. Prior to retirement, he worked as a carpenter for over 40 years having built over 2000 homes in the Tampa Bay Area. He enjoyed building dog houses and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and friend who will be dearly missed. A funeral service will be held 2pm, Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Gateway Christian Center, 14200 N.
