FERRELL, Avelyn Marie, age 96, passed away on August 24 in Tampa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lennie Ferrell, her parents, Charles Cofer, Sr. and Ruby Douglas Cofer, brothers, Charles Cofer, Jr., Douglas Lamar Cofer, sisters, Edna Cofer Wright and Dorothy Cofer. She is survived by one sister, Doris Cofer Childers of Dublin, GA. Avelyn was a longtime member of Riverside Baptist Church and most recently was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 3:00PM at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave. Tampa, with interment to follow in the cemetery.
