Barbara Jean Hermes

Barbara Hermes, 72, of Lutz, FL went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to John and Helen Wehrman in Cincinnati, OH and was the youngest of three sisters. Barbara married Richard Hermes on April 16, 1966. Barbara moved to Florida with her family in 1982. She was Vice-President of Hermes Inc. General Contractors and held a Real Estate Brokers License. Barbara also had a second career in nursing and became a Registered Nurse in 1992. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Hermes; sons, Richard Jr. (Kelly), John (Tamara) and Paul (Jennifer); grandsons, Jack and Joey; along with her sister, Rosemary Deitzer. She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann Teeter. Visitation will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9 – 11 am. The funeral mass will occur the same day at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 15520 N. Blvd., Tampa at 12:00 PM followed by a graveside service at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
