Barbara Elizabeth Hoover

Barbara was born in Quincy, Massachusetts to Arthur and Dorothy Doyle on September 8, 1936. She married Karlyn B. Hoover in December of 1956 in San Antonio, Florida. Barbara worked with her brother, Butch, assisting in the success of a family owned lawn mower repair business. She was a strong believer in God and held her faith close to her heart. Barbara worked hard and loved even harder; she continuously put the needs of family and loved ones before her own. Although she may have been small in stature, her personality was larger than life; she had the gift of always making people around her laugh.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Karlyn. Her parents, Arthur and Dorothy, five brothers Arthur Jr., Donald, Francis, Roland “Butch”, Edward, and her four sisters Dorothy Swann, Kathleen Sadlier, Patricia Burr and Geraldine Langill.

Barbara is survived by her son, Karlyn B. Hoover, Jr. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved with all her heart.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 on the 20th of June at Blount and Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel with the Rev. Dr. St. Clair. Moore, Pastor of Ministry of Grace Church. Family will receive friends prior to services at 2pm.
