Myers, Barney Lee, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. He was born and lived in Tampa, Florida. Barney is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marie; sons, Barney L. Myers Jr. (Julie), Steven L. Myers (Kay) and Terry C. Myers (Anne); seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Idlewild Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Barney’s memory to Idlewild Baptist Church Missions or HOPE Children’s Home.
