I will always remember our hunting trip to Colorado. Beger, Fred, Micky, Ed Burkett and me. We had the brakes smoking coming out of the mountains. Berger slept in his Uncle's tent and the roof fell in from the weight of the snow. We had a great time. I sure miss those times.

Berger was a great mentor, I learned a lot from him. Loved to fish, hunt and golf with Berger. Just a great guy. He will be missed.

My cousin, Berger, may not have gotten his fair allotment of years in life but he made the most of the time he had. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing golf with friends. He loved having a good meal and a whisky or gin at the end of the day. He loved to travel and saw much of the world and the US. He loved his work. He used to say "I'm nothing but a simple peddler." But he was a darn good one. He knew his products and his customers and worked tirelessly for them right up to the end. He was a "people person" who loved telling stories and jokes. Berger truly loved his family; his daughters, grandchildren and most especially his wife, Lynette. She was his life-long partner, best friend, soul-mate and the source of his strength at the end.
Farewell, Buddy, I am going to miss you. I know you have already planned a fall elk hunt with Uncle Walt, and a round of golf with Boop.
