Betty graduated from Owen County High School and pursued her college education on and off with night school classes and earned her BA degree from the University of South Florida. Betty held a range of occupations from waitress to professional organizer.
Betty was a student of Siddha Yoga for most of her adult life. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and entertaining. She was an avid reader. Her favorite books were the writings of spiritual teachers and classic literature.
Betty was predeceased by Alfred Arnold, her husband of 29 years, and is survived by her four stepchildren, Douglas, Deborah, Patricia, and Richard
A memorial service was held at her home in Tampa, Florida, and a burial service will be held at the Owenton Cemetery in Owenton, Kentucky.
