DAUGHERTY, Betty K., 82, of Zephyrhills, formerly of NC passed away on December 8th surrounded by her loving family. Betty was Baptized in the Catholic faith. She proudly worked as a Hillsborough County School Bus Driver, retiring after 27 years of service. She was predeceased by her son, Rick Loflin and her mother, Fannie Kluttz. She is survived by a family that dearly loved her including her husband Richard Daugherty; sister Peggy (Albert) Rogers; brothers Clifford (Jamie) Kimmer and Gene (Diane) Kimmer; children Debra (John) Gentry, Sheila (Rick) Hernandez, Cindy (Masashi) Ozawa, Jeff (Amy) Loflin and Christine (James) Mallory; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor at St. Patrick ‘s Catholic Church, 4518 S. Manhattan Ave., Tampa, on December 15th at 1 PM. A graveside service will take place at Garden of Memories Cemetery at a later date.
