Betty H Fetty

Betty Lena Hope Fetty, 94, of Tampa, passed away on February 24, 2022 in Tampa. Betty was born in Tampa, FL to William H. Hope & Lena Scally Hope on November 12, 1927. She went to school at Hillsborough High School in Tampa, FL. She married Lester Eugene Fetty on April 25, 1954 in Tampa, FL. She graduated from University of South Florida with a Masters Degree in Library Science. She worked as an elementary school teacher and a high school librarian She was also an Eastern Star member.

Betty is preceded in death by her late husband Lester Eugene Fetty. She is survived by her three Children; Suzanne Suarez Hurley, Deborah Suarez Parrish (Phillip) and Mildred Fetty Sanders and her Grandchildren; Lionel (Joy) Sanders, Gwen (Justin) Marsicano & Patricia Sanders, Shauna Thomas (Joey), Trenton & Eston Parrish and her Great Grandchildren; Adrien, Ryley & Ember Thomas, Vinny Vera, Blake & Briana Marsicano.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 10:00 am followed by the service at 11:00 am at Blount & Curry Funeral Home in Carrollwood at 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL. Interment will be held on March 10, 2022 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL.
