Born on April 25, 1944, in Empire, Alabama, Brenda was a devoted mother, a dedicated professional, and a deeply loved member of her family.
Brenda’s greatest joy was her son, Regan Almon. The bond they shared throughout his life was truly special. She was the person he could always turn to and the one he counted on through every chapter of his life.
Brenda dedicated 38 years of her life to the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she worked in Medical Administration at the Veterans Hospital. She was proud of her career and of the years she devoted to serving others.
Outside of work, Brenda enjoyed traveling with friends and family, playing golf, and reading. An avid reader, she found great pleasure in the worlds and stories found within the pages of a good book.
Brenda did not need to be the loudest person in the room to make an impression. Her kindness spoke for her.
Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, father and her four brothers.
She is survived by her beloved son, Regan Almon, and his wife, Ann, who will forever carry her love in their hearts.
There are simply no words to express how special Brenda was or how deeply she will be missed. Her love, strength, and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by her family and friends.
