Brett Lee McGonigle, 73, of Temple Terrace, passed away on October 23, 2025. He was a talented artist who created ads for the Yellow Pages and loved drawing cartoons, especially drawing Florida landscapes and creating characters based on people from the south.
Brett was a devoted Tampa Bay Buccaneers football fan. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking family favorites, and having family vacations on Sanibel Island. He will be remembered for his creativity, warmth, and love of family, friends, and his love for his cats & all things Disney.
Brett was the son of Curtis McGonigle and Ruth Prohias, and stepson of Dorilie Wiggins McGonigle. He is survived by his wife, Arlene McGonigle; daughter, Shari Kelsay; son-in-law, Taylor Kelsay; twin 1 year old grandsons, Zygmund & Mahna Kelsay; sister, Jo Marie Little; and stepbrothers, Robert and John Wiggins.
A memorial service will be held on January 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church.
