Carl Frank Kubiak

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Carl Frank Kubiak, 86, of Tampa, FL on March 28, 2023. Carl was born in Mount Oliver, Pennsylvania, and relocated from Pittsburgh to Florida in 1968 with his loving wife of 60 years, Constance “Connie” Miller Kubiak. Carl enjoyed spending time with his family, watching Pittsburgh Steelers football, bowling, fishing and boating. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy, and is a Korean War Veteran He is survived by his wife Connie, son, Charles Kubiak & wife, LaVon; son, Craig Kubiak & wife, Kelly; daughter, Christine Kubiak O’Connor & husband, Paul; grandchildren Michael Dameron, Spencer Kubiak, Mackenzie Kubiak, Brooke Kubiak, Sean O’Connor, Brian Kubiak; brothers, Richard Kubiak and George Kubiak. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles & Alice Kubiak, sister, Patricia Goodrich, and brother, Robert Kubiak.

Grounded in his Catholic faith, there will be a viewing on Wednesday, April 5 at 9 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 12708 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10 am. A celebration of his life will be held immediately afterwards at 11:30 am at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 3207 Bearss Avenue, Tampa, FL. Carl will then be laid to rest with full Military Honors at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 2 pm.
