Carmen Iris Ayala Long, 92, of Tampa, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Carmen was a Beautiful woman born in Puerto Rico. She has traveled, lived, and touched hearts through out our country. Carmen was an avid gardener and possessor of many skills and much knowledge. Her love for the Lord was strong as was her love for her family. Believe me she has prayed for all of us. And that's a long list of people to pray for. She was blessed with longevity and lots of love! Carmen " My Grandmom " would never let you off of the phone. Because everytime you would go to hang up she would wish GOD'S blessings for you and tell you how much she loves you! The conversations on the phone with her were calming, healing, loving and very long! Like the list of family that she loved and love her in return. Carmen is survived by her children: Maurice Christensen, Evelyn Senft, Charles Orrin Shears Sr. Grandchildren: Tony, Chrissy, David, Leon Sr., Peachy, Sabrina, Christy, Angel, Josh, Chucky, Shaun, Jacob, 27 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
