Carmen Elisa Martinez

Carmen Martinez was seventy-three years old when she returned to her true home in heaven, but during her time on Earth she touched many lives and planted the seed of faith wherever she was. Her purpose as God’s servant was to serve others and lead them to the Lord. God’s faith in her shined through her name. In Hebrew Carmen means, “Garden of God”.

She was a daughter, mother, and grandmother who survived many challenging obstacles and had to make extremely difficult decisions. Every incident making her stronger in her faith and bringing her closer towards her purpose. She spent much of her life doing for others and spreading God’s word. Her strength showed through every obstacle and every decision she made.

Her love for people was evident through all interactions and anyone who encountered her felt her passion to serve and bring happiness. She was a genuine nurturer and brought laughter in dark moments, a true light shining through guiding many to the Lord’s path.

Though her physical life on Earth has ended, her spiritual life has begun. Her legacy, strength, and passion live on through her children and grandchildren. Her family is saddened to have lost such a kind and caring mother but will celebrate her life by extending her passion to serve. And so, with a heavy heart we say goodbye for now, until we see each other again.
