Carole was born in Ellwood city, Pennsylvania to Arthur and Eleanor Leininger on August 7th, 1942.
She attended the University of Mississippi and USF to become a chemistry teacher. Carole spent over 50 years as a teacher. She truly enjoyed teaching, even outside of the classroom. Carole also loved to travel, visiting every continent. Her world travels included visits to Ecuador, Antarctica, China, Turkey, Istanbul, Australia, Egypt, New Zealand, Holland, Norway, Sweden, France, Greece, Rome, Denmark, Dublin, Japan, Madagascar and the Indonesia Islands. She was not able to take her final trip she planned to Africa and had always wanted to go to Hawaii. With all her traveling, Carole became quite a road scholar and would share her stories with everyone. When she wasn’t traveling, she enjoyed creating glass art. Carole would create glass beads for jewelry.
Carole is predeceased by her parents, and her sister, Sandy Evans.
Carole is survived by her loving family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday January 9th at 1pm at Blount & Curry Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Ave, Tampa FL 33618.
