He was born on August 26, 1930, in Cuba, to Neive Ruz Ramos and Luisa Doval Ramirez.
In 1959, Castor married Margarita, the love of his life, who survives him. Together, they built a life rooted in love, dedication, and family. Castor is also survived by his five children: Guillermo, Victor (spouse Robin), Irene (Spouse Ignacio), Susana (Tim), and Elizabeth (Spouse Herman); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy. An avid chess player and sport fan. He taught all his children and grandkids how to play chess.
Castor was known for his unwavering devotion to his family. His warmth, wisdom, and quiet strength left a lasting impact on all who knew him. He lived a full life marked by kindness, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility to those he loved.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered!
