Catherine Quammie passed away peacefully at the age of 86 at home in Tampa Florida with her loved ones. Catherine was born in St, Lucia, West Indies and lived most of her life in St.Croix until moving to Florida. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a vibrant woman with a large heart who valued caring for others. Her free time was spent sewing and cooking. She was loved by everyone who met her. Catherine is predeceased by her husband James Quammie. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Halls; her granddaughter, Kayla Halls; her son in law, Kurt Halls; her sisters, Inese La Corbiniere and Olinda Fanus, and numerous family and friends.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, August 29, at 11:00 am at Blount and Curry Funeral Home in Carrollwood.
