He joined the United States Airforce where he pursued a successful career as a Military Police Officer and served in the Korean and Vietnam War. He retired after 20 years and 15 days. Through the years Charlie would have many interests and hobbies. They included collecting stamps, coins, jewelry, and guns. Probably his favorite pastime was using his metal detectors to find and salvage historical military memorabilia.
He joins his wife Olean Patricia and son Charles Randall Jr.
He leaves behind Charles Jr’s wife Kathy, James (Andrea), Mary (Donny), Darlene.
Also saddened by his loss are his grandchildren Danny (Daniel), Kerri-Ann (Josh), James (Tara), Joanna (David), Patricia (Sean), Donny (Tiffany), Patrick, Michael. He also cherished his great grandchildren Logan, Faith, Wyatt, Damien, Michael, Leona, Cass, Meira, Mel, Emily, Isabella, Noah, Mylianna, Karalina, Riley, Alina and Jackson.
He will be laid to rest on Friday January 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Myrtle Hill Cemetery and Memorial Park, located at 5048 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610.
