Got to know Chuck when he was dating my sister Beth, before they got married. I was in grade eight. He was always fun to be around and there was also the serious side for those heavy duty conversations. After chuck and Beth were married and had moved to Tampa to start the bookstore, they came every Sunday to St. Pete and spent the afternoon with us. They came over to go to Central Bible Church and to discuss business with Mom and Dad. Sunday afternoon was also time for playing Risk and Facts in Five. Fun times. Joy and Jerrie, you all have been in my thoughts and prayers may times in the last months as you helped care for your Dad. May God's peace and the assurance of knowing God is in control of everything help keep your eyes on Him and rest in His love. Love to you all, Uncle Mark

Chuck and I we're friends for over 50 years, he was the best friend I ever had, always stood by me in hard times and was best man at my wedding to Sue. So glad I got to see him in Nov. He will be missed. Friends like him are to find. May Joy and Jeri always remember that dad was a really great guy.

Chuck and I knew each other for many years at Christ Community Church and Camp Cedarbrook, but we really became good friends on the golf course. His favorite course was “The Groves” and we played many rounds there. My favorite memory from these rounds of golf was when Chuck would say something like… “that reminds me of a story”. Chuck certainly had an interesting, colorful and full life and loved to share those experiences with those around him. As much as he relished in sharing his stories, I equally enjoyed joining him in reliving many of his past and present life events. I will really miss those times with my friend but look forward to spending lots of time together in our Father’s Kingdom. My condolences to Patricia, Joy, Jerri and all family members. You are in my prayers.

Charles Eugene (as the family called him) was the grandchild of Wes and Mozelle Milner - the first of us. I did not get the pleasure of knowing him well but what I did know was that he was a man of God, loved his family and was a friend to everyone. He set a great example for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed but oh those memories! Much love to all of you and many prayers for peace in the days to come. Lana

John and I knew Chuck and Beth and their daughters Joy and Jerrie from Christ Community Church. Such a lovely family - they were a blessing to many. Chuck will certainly be missed especially from his many trips to Cuba-a country he loved. Our condolences to Joy and Jerrie and family. May our Heavenly Father comfort you during your time of grieving. Love from Sherry & John Louer

It's been a blessing to have Chuck's friendship for the last 33 years. When I first came to Tampa, he encouraged me in my work and my walk. I helped some with store computer adventures, and we ended up playing racquetball for 20 years - he'd beat me while standing in the back and hit dink shots while I was bouncing off the wall. Thanks, Chuck, for radiating Christ, demonstrating a genuine Christian walk and challenging me to do likewise.

I was dear brother Chuck's interpreter since 2008 when he first came to Cuba. He was like a father to me. I have much to thank him for. Chuck was an example of faith in Jesus Christ to everyone he met. He taught us how to share the gospel in a very simple & easy way. His ministry in Cuba has helped thousands brethren to grow in the knowledge of the Lord & thousands of people to come to Jesus. His passion for Christ was unique. Nothing stopped him.
I witnessed the Mighty Hand of God upon him healing him & given him strength while he walked sharing God's good news in the streets in Cuba.
He used to say he was the most blessed man in the whole world. I agree. He was very loved. Our brother Chuck is already greatly missed.
All his friends in Cuba are praying for his family. We'll continue Chuck's work (Cuba 4 Christ)
