Charlie was a favorite driver of my father. My dad said he was one tough little racer who feared no one one the track or in the pits afterwards.
I enjoyed banging wheels with his son, Charlie Jr. at Pasco Raceway. God Speed

May his soul rest in peace. An adventurous man has past into the Lord's hands and will be forever taken care of. Conversations with his son leads me to believe that he was a great Father, and Grandfather up until his last days. Men like him are far and few in between, but to his last days was a fighter. I hope the Musselman family celebrates his life, which was extraordinary (not many people get to be on the cover of LIFE magazine upside down, going 100 mph in a sprint car). I hope all of the family has peace with his passing and celebrates the joys of his life. The Desort Family.

Reds, you will be missed by your loving family. You were a father, husband, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and a good friend to many people. Your wild stories of your racing days in the 1950's were so vivid it was like being there. We will miss you, Your family Charlie and June, Jamie and Nick , Kyle and Nicole, Natalie and Zachary
