Charlotte Hansley

Charlotte Ingram Hansley, 84 of Lutz, FL. passed away on May 3, 2023. She is a native of Four Oaks, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her husband, Van Nicholas Hansley. Charlotte is survived by her two sisters, Lavern Lee of Raleigh, NC, Delores Peacock of Norfolk, VA, and her brother Talmedge Ingram of Clayton, NC. Also survived by three children, Brett Hansley of Lutz, FL, Dee Dee Chaves of Land O Lakes, FL, son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Kim Hansley of Elizabeth City, NC: grandchildren Lauren Chaves of Land O Lakes, FL. Taylor Chaves of Land O Lakes, FL. Kali and Aubry Hansley of Lakeland, GA ; Arabi Luke of Key West, FL. Great grandchildren Carson and Evan Steele of Land O Lakes, FL. She taught preschool for many years and had many stories and fond memories of the students she taught. Charlotte was quite athletic, she played basketball in high school while attending Four Oaks High. She took up golf later in life, even making a hole-in-one in her 50’s. Charlotte loved working in her yard and her morning bacon, she was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
