Christine E Diaz

Christine E. Diaz, beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, at the age of 98. She was born on November 11, 1927, and lived a long and meaningful life filled with love, passion, hard work, and devotion to her family.

Christine was a deeply passionate woman who loved her family with all her heart. Her greatest joy came from caring for the people she loved and creating a warm and loving home. She had a generous spirit and a beautiful way of showing her love through the things she did for others.

You could often find Christine in the kitchen, preparing delicious meals for her loved ones, or outside tending to her garden. Cooking and gardening were more than hobbies to her—they were expressions of her love, creativity, and connection to the world around her. Through her meals, her garden, and her caring heart, Christine brought comfort and joy to those fortunate enough to know her.

Christine was also a retired silkscreen printer. Throughout her life, she was a hardworking and passionate woman who gave much of herself to her family and to the life she built. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, devotion, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Christine is survived by her beloved son, Thomas M. Rogers, age 71, and her cherished granddaughter, Christine Smith, age 48. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Cynthia A. Simms, who passed away in 2011, and her loving husband, Naldo J. Diaz.

Christine will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Naldo J. Diaz, at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Tampa, Florida, where they will be together once again.

Christine will be missed more dearly than words can express. Her love, her warmth, her passion, and the memories she created with her family will remain forever in their hearts. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on through the family she cherished so deeply.

May she rest peacefully in the loving arms of God, reunited with her beloved husband and daughter. May God rest her soul.
