What a beautiful memorial service today for Christine. She was a true servant of God and is now in the presence of her savior, Jesus Christ. Christine always had a smile for everyone and continually placed the needs of others above her own. I'm sure Jesus said to her when they met in heaven on November 14th, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." For those of us who know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we will meet Christine again and spend eternity with her praising and worshiping God. What a glorious day that will be!

To Brett and Lou,

Your mom was a dear soul who will be missed. My family and I were blessed to have known her and will miss her smile and her friendship. We are happy though that she no longer has to suffer and struggle with the cancer and that she is home with the Lord. We will keep you in our prayers.

I wish to express my deeply felt sadness for this loss of such a kind colleague and friend, who was always willing to help others and was a warm liaison with past students at USF. She cared for everyone. At USF I have know her for 35 years. I appreciated her various initiatives and tireless energy to promote French and literature, her life-long passion.
Warm condolences to all affected. I deeply share your grief, as well as fond memories. I am sharing a 2015 picture, from my last public lecture at USF, an event sponsored by the USF Humanities Institute and that she initiated.

Chris was such a sweet and loving person. The light of her Lord Jesus Christ shone through her. Chris and Hal welcomed us to Tampa and encouraged us in the ministry at Trinity. Even through some difficult times, Chris continued to maintain connection with us and with Trinity. She will be greatly missed, but we rejoice in her reunion with Hal and other family and friends in Heaven and with the Lord Jesus.

To the family and friends of Professor Probes;

My sincere sympathies for your loss. Dr. Probes was such a wonderful, caring and charismatic Professor. Devoted to the very end, and always ready to assist. So knowledgeable, sharp and witty, she kept us on our toes with our readings and assignments. "Go to Files and Unfiles et vous trouverez des articles qui s'aura vous guider" she would tell us. She has taught me a great deal and I will cherish all my moments, conversations and our classroom time together.

My thoughts and especially prayers are with you.

Au revoir Professor Probes et merci chalereusement pour tous vos conseils et nos entretiens.

Toujours avec grande amitié,
