Born on July 22, 1973, in Tampa, Chris was the beloved son of Larry and Mary Jo Castro. He had a passion for hunting and found joy in spending time on the lake.
Chris was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Castro; his grandparents, John and Mary Greco; and his grandparents, Laurence and Roberta Castro.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and Joshua Murray; his son, Noah Castro; his sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Thomas Adkins; his niece and nephew, Lauren and Nicholas Adkins; his parents, Larry and Mary Jo Castro; his two grandchildren, Caitlyn and Oliver Murray; and his fiancée, Jessica Simkins.
A visitation will be held on October 3, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, located at 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL, 33618.
The funeral service will follow on the same day, October 3, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the same location.
