He graduated from Broadalbin-Perth High School where he played soccer. Colin attended Fulton-Montgomery College where he excelled at graphic arts .
He moved to Florida sixteen years ago where he began working for the Hillsborough School District .
Most recently, he was working at Anderson Elementary School in South Tampa. He was a dedicated employee who was respected and well liked.
He always took a second job to stay busy or else he could be found puttering around his house or tinkering with a vehicle.
Colin is survived by his parents, David and Margaret; his wife, Lisa and her children, Jonathan and Ophelia; his sister, Meghan and her husband Michael; his brother, Justin and his wife Katrina . He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in both Florida and his native state of New York.
