She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1961. She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine Linares Roberts and Carlos Messina.
She is survived by her children Kimberly Guy and Rick Carbonell (Denise). She is also survived by her sister Renee Sanchez(Jim), 2 stepsisters Vicky Hoffman(Richard), Anne Warner(Graham), her grandchildren Mikayla, Jonathan, Julian, Liam and Juliet as well as many cousins.
Her greatest accomplishment was being the most wonderful, loving, kind, compassionate, and most forgiving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Flowers will be accepted but in lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610, US, on May 30, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A Graveside Service will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610, US, on May 30, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
