

Daniel S. FISHER III, 70, Native of Tampa FL. from a founding family of several generations that helped establish the Tampa Bay area. Born to Daniel S. Fisher and Willhelmina (Hoffman) Fisher on Feb. 15, 1948, passed away on Nov. 20, 2018. Devoted husband and loving father, successfully retired business owner (Wit’s In’d Production, Partner to Alford Fisher Const., and Apollo C&M). Well-educated, he attended Gorrie Elementary, Wilson Jr. High, Plant High School, and the University of Tampa. He was member of the Masons, Masonic Lodge No. 25 for 30yrs and a member of the Egypt Shiners. Well humored, generous, & light hearted; he loved entertaining (always with a joke & smile), being outdoors and spending time with friends & family. He had a passion for old Florida history, loved animals, and enjoyed lifelong hobbies of being an Aquarist, Aviculturist, Botanist and Fishing. Known, loved & respected by many, Dan was always there for a friend or anyone in need. Preceded in death by his twin daughters, Brandy (Nagle) and Sherry (Jenkins); he is survived by his dog, Charlie; loving wife, Barbara “Bobbie”; daughters: Misty, Coleen, and Crystal Fisher; granddaughters: Kathy& Malana Jenkins; sister: Doe Gaczewski and her family; stepbrother: William Jenkins; son-in law: Ron dale Jenkins; and nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at Garden of Memories Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave. Viewing will be 10–11 a.m. with service to follow.
