I was saddened in reading of Don's passing. We were in the novitiate together in Newton, N.J. He always had a kind comment to make when things were tough -- his comments were witty as well. I will offer a Mass in his memory as I am sure he will be remembered by many other Salesians. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, may He Rest in Peace!

So sorry to hear about Fr Dons passing. Always a pleasure to talk with him. We enjoyed his masses at St John Bosco Church in Harvey ,La.
He was a big help to my family 7 years ago when my husband was gravely ill.
My prayers are with his family and friends.
