Ms.Doris was one of the sweetest women I every met. I was a kindergartner with ADHD and sensory problems and going to lunch in a loud cafeteria was really hard for me but Ms.Doris helped me through it everyday and I remember her even now that I’m a junior in highschool. I was curious to see how she was doing and sadly I found that she had passed. She was an amazing person and I give my condolences to her family who she adored.

Doris, Aunt Doris to me, came into my life at a very young age.  She and my mother, Charm, were best of friends. We spent many years doing things as family.  Doris extended her love and pure heart & soul to my family for most of my life.  It carried over into adulthood for me.  She flew to CA for my brother’s wedding, she flew to WA for my son’s Eagle Scout Ceremony.  Aunt Doris was a constant in our lives.  She was so proud of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Lovingly goodbye, to one of the most humble, modest, generous, devoted, adoring ladies I will ever have the pleasure of knowing, my Aunt Doris.  I will cherish your memory forever, particularly when I see anything Elvis related!  

Doris was one of the most loving, kindest people I have ever known. She always had a smile on her face to brighten your day and a light attitude, full of laughter. Her spirit could light up a whole room. She loved all people and tried to make everyone feel loved and included. She was a selfless gem, always thinking of others and their needs above her own. She loved Elvis Presley and loved to have fun. Her spirit will truly be missed. However, I am sure she is dancing with the angels right now and enjoying the comfort of the Almighty.

A life well lived.
My mom was a wonderful woman.  She was, by far, the most generous woman I have ever met.  She would do anything for her family, and made us her number one priority.  She lived a life of service and was always looking for ways to help others.  
Her inner strength was a thing of wonder to watch.  No matter what challenges she faced, she never complained.  I have never known anyone who worked as hard as she did.  My mom led by example and I could not be more proud of the woman that raised the three of us.  She inspires me to be better...a better mother, grand-mother, sister, and friend.   Even though my heart is heavy with the loss of my best friend, my mom,  I know that she is now free from  her Earthly challenges and is celebrating her eternal life in Heaven.  I thank God every day for the mom he gave me!  I'm blessed with a lifetime of loving memories.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to get to know Doris and her wonderful family. She was a sweet and spirited lady, always there for a hug or a good laugh. We will forever cherish the time we spent together.

She is survived by three children, Gina Alderman (Amy), Tina Pipp (Dan), and Dave Alderman Jr (Candy); three grandchildren, Daniel Pipp (Kandi), Austin Pipp, and Grace Pipp; three great-grandchildren, Trinity Owens, Logan Pipp and Jaxson Pipp; sisters-in-law, Lupe Cox, Sandra Cox, and Wini Cox; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and lifetime friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pansy and Gerald Cox; siblings, Clifton Cox (Edith), Gerald S. Cox, George Cox, Edward Cox, Norma Jane Larned (Tommy), Melba Forbes (Leon); and nephews, Buddy and Dennis Forbes.
