I miss you so much, Grandma. I'm so grateful for the memories I have with you and the times we shared. You were somehow always excited to hear about my life's little adventures (and occasional misadventures :). I will never forget you telling me not to let anyone steal my joy. I am determined to live by that mantra. I just wish we had more time. I hope you are resting peacefully now. Love you so much <3

I will be forever grateful for the weekend visit I had with my aunt Dorothy in 1976. I was a college student near her home in the Berkshires. She shared so many memories with me of my mother Martha who died shortly before my second birthday. Those stories have been like an anchor to me throughout my life. I am so sorry I did not see her again and even sorrier I never told her how much her words meant to me. My deepest condolences to family and friends.

Losing my Mom,Dorothy, has left a big hole in my life. She was a big influence to me. She adored my children and grandchildren and was so happy to hear all about them. She was very encouraging of my various pursuits. Ready to give advise when I needed it. I’ll miss her so much but I’m grateful she isn’t suffering anymore.

Although I always lived far away from Grandma, she always remembered and sent me birthday cards, Christmas gifts, and always shared in our joys of graduations, Weddings and births. Trips to Florida to visit Grandma were insanely exciting! She always spoiled us and made sure we were comfortable. 'Till this day, whenever I drink fresh orange juice, it reminds me of visiting grandma.
She will be missed. Until we meet again, rest in peace.

My mom Dorothy while she was able was always helping others. Now she will receive her reward for all those good deeds. Happy that she is no longer suffering.

Dorothy was my mother and my friend. She provided love, support and animated conversation on our weekly long-distance phone calls.
She always wanted to hear updates on her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and would express her deep affection for each one.
She acted as our news center and could update us on how everyone was doing.
I’m going to miss those phone calls...
I’ll miss you Mom...
