Dorothy Clarice Stafford

Dorothy Clarice Stafford, 94, passed away at Brookdale Senior Living facility in Anderson, S.C. on Saturday, September 5, 2020.

Dorothy was an amazing woman who loved Jesus and was an prayerful and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Dorothy was part of the Franciscan order who loved her church, she enjoyed traveling abroad as well as in the U.S., and being included in her family and friend’s lives.

Dorothy is survived by her brother, Richard Stafford and his wife, Diane; nieces, Nicole Lake, Shaun Beckish, Shannon Rice; six great-nieces and nephews, Bryce, Lauren, and Kate Beckish, and Stafford, Lillian, and William Rice; cousin, Rusty Gardner.

A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2020 at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Tampa, Florida. Interment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 9-10 a.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, Tampa, Florida. Services were also held in Anderson, S.C. on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either church.
