with stage 4 Melanoma Cancer. She was born to the late Man I. MacKinnon and Lois McCormick MacKinnon on April 9, 1948 in Goldsboro, NC. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Worrell Jr. and former husband, Robert L. Youngblood; her children, Robert C. Worrell III. (Robbie) and wife Ginger; son, Gregory S. Worrell; and daughter Michele D. Worrell; her brothers, James G. MacKinnon and Man. I. MacKinnon Jr. (Bubba) as well as many loving step-children; adoring grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many loving extended family members. Visitation for friends and family will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 6-9 pm with a prayer service officiated by Pastor Greg Murphy of Idlewild at 7 pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Homeof Carrollwood. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 11 am - 12 pm at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home in Clearwater. To honor Dorothy, the family is asking for everyone to wear an animal print accessory to the visitation.
