

Dwayne Scott Josephson, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on September 1, 2026. Born and raised in Tampa, Dwayne was a lifelong Floridian and a man who found joy in the things he loved, the people he cared about, and the interests that made him uniquely himself.
Dwayne was the son of David Josephson and the late Jeanie Josephson. He is survived by his daughter, Jenna Claire Alexander-Penhollow; his brother, Jeremy (Tabby) Josephson; and his beloved nieces, Brittanie (Mark) Elliott and Fallyn Josephson.
Dwayne dedicated his professional life to education and technology, working as a Professor at St. Petersburg College in the technology field. He had a passion for computers and technology that extended well beyond his career. He especially loved his Apple One computer and was an avid Apple collector, always appreciating the latest piece of technology and the history behind it.
Outside of work, Dwayne had a wonderful collection of interests that reflected his personality. He was a devoted dog dad to his beloved Wickett, who brought him countless moments of companionship and happiness. He was a lifelong fan of Star Wars and Star Trek, enjoying the worlds, stories, and characters that captured his imagination.
Dwayne will be remembered for his intelligence, his passion for technology, his unique interests, and the love he had for his family and Wickett. His presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
He leaves behind memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and loved ones.
